Tom Riddle was born in 1928 in an orphanage in London. His mother, a witch; and according to Voldemort- a descendent of Salazar Slytherin, had fallen in love with Tom Riddle, a Muggle. Tom Riddle lived in a fine-looking manor that stood on a hill overlooking the village of Little Hangleton. The manor house was one of the largest and grandest buildings for miles around. When Voldemort's mother told her husband that she was a witch, he abandoned her, returning to his parents' home. As Lord Voldemort told the story, his father didn't approve of magic and wished for nothing to do with it. Voldemort's mother died just after giving birth to him - living just long enough to name him Tom (after his father) and Marvolo (after his grandfather). He was the raised in a Muggle orphanage for the past eleven years of his life.
Close to a year before his eleventh birthday, Tom had begun to turn slightly. His personality diminishing as he had become unpredictable and ruthless. He began to steal things and torture other orphans and pets in the Orphanage. It raised concern with the nurses and owners. He wasn't normal and clearly he had known that. - On his eleventh birthday he was visited by Albus Dumbledore who had lent out a hand for the boy bringing him to the school of Hogwarts. - Happily, Tom was sorted into Slytherin without any sort of issue. He was also admired through his years for his intelligence. But, secretly he had been developing a small dark side. He was leaning more towards dark magic and how it had worked. Curious for immortality. Soon, he would be ruthless and unstoppable.
His sixth year was very off edge. His curiosity for immortality still lingered as he had found himself in the chamber of secrets. There, he had murdered a small girl by the name of Myrtle. Of course, no one had known it was him to begin with. But eyebrows were raised and the search for her murdered wasn't over. - His obsession with Salazar Slytherin had grown as he had decided to learn more about him; Sadly, his hatred for his father had lingered as he had found himself sitting his last and lonely night in the orphanage. - Before returning, Tom decided to seek revenge for his father's abandonment and Muggle blood, he went to the Riddle mansion in Little Hangleton and murdered his father and grandparents. The Riddle's gardener later told police that on the day of the Riddle's deaths he had seen a stranger; a teenage boy, dark-haired and pale, near the manor. The next morning a maid found Tom Riddle Sr. and his elderly parents dead in their drawing room, still in their dinner outfits. The Riddles were as cold as ice and each had a look of terror upon his or her face but had no sign of physical injury. The Riddles were buried in the Little Hangleton churchyard.
Upon return to his last year at Hogwarts, Tom was crowned Prefect, Head Boy, and received a Medal for Magical Merit; but, Secretly however, Tom was researching Horcruxes and had come to the conclusion that if one Horcrux was good, seven would be better . He made his first two Horcruxes with the murders of Myrtle and his father. He was only seventeen. -- Aside from the rest of his years, Voldemort was soon a leader of his own following pack.
