There has literally been no rest for her. Morgan was particularly intelligent and ambitious so she chose to take a lot more NEWT classes than most children her age. It would pay off in the end but the work was treacherous. Considering that she had taken more classes, she had twice as much homework. Her time these days were spent in the library or in her room, sleeping. She barely had time to eat which she tried to skip but her brother and Maddie ended up dragging her to the Great Hall. Honestly, she didn't really know whether to love them for it or hate them. On one hand, they were dragging her away from her work. On the other hand, they did care enough about her to do so. Once again, she was at crossroads.
The one good thing about so much work was that she didn't have time to dwell upon the tragedies of her life or the voices that went on in her head. Personally, she was fine with suppressing them even if she was being worked to the bone. She didn't want to hear what those voices said. They were too cruel and bloody. A small part of her did want to commit those deeds. It was scary. Her mind functioned differently from most people's so she had no one to relate to. It was lovely for her, wasn't it? Her schizophrenia just affected her in ways that she couldn't explain. Most people didn't know about it though. They naturally assumed that she was stuck-up when she didn't want to interact with them.
It looked like the library was her destination again. Frowning, she noticed the library was louder than usual. It was filled with the exchanging of homework answers and proofreading essays. Morgan took a slight change of course and ended up at a table by the Potions section of the library. She looked around the area and found that most tables were occupied except one. This one almost empty table held a girl who was vaguely familiar to her. Morgan debated on returning to her dorm and doing her homework there but the temptation of sleeping would be too strong. With a sigh, she approached the table. "Excuse me, but may I sit here?"
