Dementor: All memories surrounding Tom Riddle’s possession and manipulation of her during her first year.
Mirror of Erised: Ginny would like to be as great as Gwenog Jones at Quidditch because she is definitely her hero. She also would like to be as talented and as famous as the Weird Sisters because she idolizes them.
Personality: Ginny Weasley is an independent girl who does not appreciate being controlled. She is energetic, lively and has a knack at mimicking mannerisms of other people much to the delight of those around her. Also, she is tough enough to stand up to anybody, friends and enemies alike. She is known for hexing people who get in her way. However, her boldness sometimes turns into outright cruelty when dealing with people she disliked as she has little patience for them. She calls Fleur phlegm behind her back for instance. Ginny has the ability to lie to your face undetected as Molly did not question her further about the dung bombs she had been flicking at the door after Ginny blamed it on Crookshanks. She also possesses great acting skills, which she put to use to help Harry sneak into Umbridge’s office in her fourth year. The youngest Weasley is also known to be fond of animals and is one of the few people who can lure Crookshanks out of hiding whenever she wanted to play with him.

History:
Childhood Ginny Weasley was the only daughter and youngest of Molly’s and Arthur Weasley’s seven children. She was also the first girl born in to the Weasley family in a very long time. She grew up in at the Burrow in Devon, England. Growing up with six older brothers, Ginny became a strong and independent girl. As a young girl, her brothers did not allow her to play quidditch with them. However, since she was a quidditch enthusiast herself, by the age of six, she began a habit of taking her brothers’ brooms and flying when they are not looking. Ever since her eldest brother, Bill, went to Hogwarts Ginny looked forward to going to school. In fact, she told her mother she wanted to go to school and cried when Ron, her youngest brother, Fred and George, left for Hogwarts in 1991. During the summer of 1992, the one before she came to school, she started to crush on Harry and acted uncharacteristically and extremely shy around him so much she could not even talk.
Hogwarts Days
First Year Before this year started, she went to Diagon Alley along with her family to buy all the school supplies required for the incoming year. Lucius Malfoy slipped Tom Riddles’ Diary, which turned out to be a Horcrux, into Ginny’s second-hand copy of A Beginner’s Guide to Transfiguration. Ginny discovered the diary when she came to school and was thrilled that it wrote back. She opened up to the diary consequently making her vulnerable enough for Tom Riddle’s memory, which reside in the diary, to start to manipulate/possess her. Eventually, its effects started to physically show.
By the beginning of October, Ginny started to look peaky, and by the end of the aforementioned month, the diary was able to take full control of her. Possessed by Tom Riddles’ memory, she opened the chamber of secrets and released Salazar Slytherin’s Basilisk. When the basilisks petrified Mrs. Norris and Colin Creevey, Ginny could not remember what she had been doing or where she was at the times of these attacks. This made her upset and Fred and George tried to cheer her up. It was also around this time when she started suspecting that she might be behind all of the attacks. At around Christmas, she got suspicious of the diary and got rid of it by throwing it at Moaning Myrtle’s Bathroom.
On February 14, 1993, she sent Harry a love note anonymously. The note was delivered by the elf right in front of her. To her horror, she saw that Harry now had the diary. Not wanting him to discover that she might be responsible for the attacks, she snuck into the boys’ dormitory and took the diary back. As a result, she was once again possessed by Riddles’ memory and this time Hermione Granger and Penelope Clearwater were petrified. Ginny tried to tell Harry and Ron about it but could not get the words out. It was not long before Tom Riddle made her leave a farewell message on a wall and entered the Chamber of Secrets to die. During this time, Tom Riddle became stronger and was able to assume a corporeal form while Ginny slipped into unconsciousness and slowly died. Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley rescued her before it was too late.
Second Year Before coming to school, Ginny and her family went to Egypt to visit Bill after her father won seven hundred galleons in the annual Daily Prophet Grand Prize Galleon Draw. Ginny and her family stayed at the Leaky Cauldron the night before she came to school. Due to last school year’s incident in the Chamber of Secrets, she became even shyer around Harry. In the Hogwarts Express, when the dementors searched the train for Sirius Black, Ginny found her way to the compartment containing Professor Lupin, Harry, Ron and Hermione. The presence of the dementors brought back memories of Tom Riddle’s manipulation last year and Ginny paled, shook and sobbed. Luckily, Hermione was there to comfort her. Later in the year, when Harry fell off his broomstick during a Quidditch match, Ginny visited him at the hospital wing and gave him a singing get-well card.
Third Year During the summer, Ginny spent a lot of time with Hermione, who stayed at the Burrow before and after the Quidditch World Cup. They shared Ginny’s room and tent at the World cup. This was when Hermione advised Ginny to relax and act normally around Harry. She also suggested that she go out with other people. Ginny took her advice and became more relaxed around Harry.
Ginny maintained a good relationship with Hermione when they came to Hogwarts that year and she was the only one Hermione told about going with Viktor to the ball. Neville was turned down by Hermione because she already said yes to Viktor so he asked Ginny to be his date instead and she agreed. Ginny was not pleased when she heard that Harry asked Cho Chang to be his date for the ball and she was torn when Ron suggested that she went with Harry because he did not have a date. Despite her huge crush on Harry, Ginny stuck to her word and still went with Neville. She met Michael Corner at the ball and started dating him by the end of the year.
Fourth Year During the summer of 1995, Ginny’s parents became active members of the Order of the Phoenix so she, along with her family, relocated at its headquarters, Number 12 Grimmauld Place. She stayed at the headquarters; shared a room with Hermione; helped clean the place; learned the truth about Sirius Black; and, met Tonks, who was like a big sister to her and Hermione. When Harry came to Grimmauld Place, she was happy to see him and was not at all shy around thanks to Hermione’s advice and her relationship with Michael Corner. Although Ginny was never allowed to be in Order Meetings, Hermione, who was allowed to hear, filled her in. When Harry was acquitted at his hearing for underage magic, Ginny was so pleased she sang and danced with Fred and George.
Inside the Hogwarts Express, Ginny introduced Harry and Neville to Luna Lovegood. That year, Dolores Umbridge became their new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor. She merely made students read the book and taught no practical spell casting. So, Harry, Ron and Hermione decided to form a Defence Against the Dark Arts study group. It was Ginny who named it Dumbledore’s Army during the first official meeting of the group in the Hog’s Head. She became an active member of the organization. Ginny turned out to have talent in defensive magic and was extremely happy when Harry was impressed with her Reductor Curse. Towards the end of the fall, Harry, Fred and George, were banned from playing Quidditch by Umbridge after the three attacked Draco Malfoy. Ginny tried out for the team and became the new seeker.
Just prior to Christmas, Ginny’s dad was attacked by Voldmort’s snake Nagini. Ginny, along with Harry and her brothers, was instantly sent to Number 12 and the next day, she saw her father in St. Mungo’s. After the visit, Harry convinced himself that Voldemort possessed him. Knowing the feeling of being possessed and manipulated by Voldemort, Ginny was also the one who reassured Harry that Voldemort did not possess him. Ginny spent her Christmas at Number 12 and visited her father once more on Christmas day. During this visit, Ginny found out the truth about Neville’s parents.
After the holidays, Ginny was able to catch the golden snitch during the game against Hufflepuff. Around this time, Harry and Ginny grew closer because she started to talk to him like a friend. Around Easter, she and Harry ate Easter eggs and conversed in the library. When Madam Pince saw the chocolate Ginny brought, she threw her and Harry out of the library. During the match between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, Ginny caught the golden snitch and secured the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor. Michael Corner, Ginny’s Ravenclaw boyfriend, became a sore loser and Ginny dumped him because of it.
In June, Ginny and Luna helped Harry in contacting Sirius by standing guard at the end of the corridor that led to Umbridge's office and telling people it was filled with garroting gas. Ginny participated in the battle of the Department of Mysteries. During which, she was chased through various rooms, one of which containing a three-dimensional representation of the solar system in which a death eater grabbed her by the ankle and broke it. Luckily, Luna used the redactor curse to blow up the model of Pluto in the death eater’s face. Pale and shocked Ginny was pulled to safety by Luna. Ginny recovered fully in the Hospital Wing. On the train ride home, she revealed that she and Dean Thomas were dating and comforted Harry because he just lost his Godfather, Sirius Black.
Fifth Year This year, Ginny spent her summer at the burrow with Harry, Hermione and the rest of the Weasleys. During the summer, Ginny tried to put up with Fleur (Phlegm); practice quidditch; and, bought her first pet, a purple pygmypuff she named Arnold. In the Hogwarts Express, she met up with Dean Thomas. When Zacharias Smith, a fellow D.A. member started grilling her about the happenings in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, she cursed him with a Bat-Bogey Hex. The Potions Master saw her hex him and was so impressed he invited Ginny to his little club. When term started, Ginny tried out for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team and was made Chaser along Katie Bell and Demelza Robins.

Sirius Orion Black had always been one restless boy who did not know how to manage his time properly when it came to his schoolwork. Of course the boy’s talent with time management lie on a completely different area - troublemaking. He had always had a knack for practical jokes and mayhem and always managed to squeeze plans to do it in between classes. Of course, he always does it with the help of his best friends James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin. However, that night, Sirius wanted to act alone. He felt that what he had in mind was too simple to involve four people. So, when it was around nine o’clock in the evening and people in the common room were starting to retreat to their dormitories, Sirius told his best friends that the Astronomy essay’s due date, which was tomorrow, completely slipped from his mind. Of course, he normally would have asked Remus to do it for him since his friend has always been willing to help, but he had other plans for that night… wicked plans.
Sirius worked on his essay hurriedly, wanting to be over and done with it as soon as possible. His excited mind, although exceedingly bright, was just up to neither the task of reading the Astronomy book, which was cracked open on the center table, nor was it up to write a three feet essay on Astronomy. He fidgeted a lot and looked at the common room fire, a mischievous glint in his stormy eyes, as he thought of the minor details of his one-man prank. He wondered where he would stage it, thinking of who he wanted to be pissed the most. The caretaker, Argus Filch, came to mind. Oh how he would love to annoy the bloody caretaker. A door closing somewhere behind him snapped him out of his reverie and he looked around, he realize that the sixth year Gryffindor prefect, the last one in the common room with him, must have retired to bed. Realizing that no one was on his way in getting out of the common room, not that anyone succeeded in stopping him from sneaking out before, he swiftly wrote the conclusion of his essay, writing a bit bigger so it would be exactly three feet. He couldn’t keep the grin off of his face as he rolled it up and stuffed it neatly in his rucksack along with his slightly used Astronomy book, ink bottle and quill.
Not wanting to risk waking up any of the second year boys in his dormitory, Sirius decided against going upstairs to stow his rucksack under his bed. Leaving his bag on the couch, Sirius slinked toward the portrait hole and noiselessly made his way to the secret passageway that led very near the entrance hall. He quietly opened the door and made three dung bombs go off in Filch’s office, closed it and pressed an ear to the door. He doubled over with silent laughter upon hearing Filch curse rather colorfully and scream bloody murder. The sound made adrenaline course through his veins and he ran for it, wiping his dirty hands on the front of his robes. “Blaaaacccck!!!!!!” Filch roared and cursed not too far behind him and this made him snort into his hand and ran faster, taking two flights of stairs at a time. It took him three secret passageways and two trapdoors before he finally managed to get Filch off his back. Panting, he looked around, taking in his surroundings. He was in the highest part of the school, at the top landing of the spiral staircase that led to the astronomy tower. He did not know how he managed to run from the ground floor to the astronomy tower without stopping. This instigated another chuckle to escape his lips.
It took at least a couple of minutes to calm his breathing and to stop himself from laughing at what he did. Sirius was about to descend the spiral staircase and walk back to the Gryffindor tower when he heard the sound of what could only be a chair being pulled from somewhere inside the Astronomy Classroom. Sirius took his wand out of his pocket just in case whoever was behind the door attacked, turned around and slowly and quietly opened the door. He took a peek and saw a rather small girl climbing into a chair. With an amused smirk, he watched her as she made herself comfortable and watched the stars. Realizing that the girl was not a threat because judging by her height, he could deduce that she was a mere first year, he grinned, slipped his wand into his pocket, stealthily slipped into the room, close the door behind him silently and made his way to the sweet-looking girl, who looked beautiful under the starry night sky. He caught a whiff of the putrid odor that came off of the front of his robes, where he wiped the dung bomb stain off of his palms not long ago, and had to fight of a chuckle from erupting out of his throat by biting his lip. He stopped walking at about ten feet from the girl. Still grinning, he made a tutting sound loud enough for the girl to hear before straightening up and saying, “You know, you can get a week’s worth of detention at the very least just for being out of bed after hours don’t you?” in his recently perfected prefect tone and shaking his head at the small girl in disapproval.
